The prototype was made by winding strips of paper around a pencil and gluing it together. Marvin Stone – the inventor – then experimented with paraffin-coated manila paper, so they would not become soggy.

Flow Circus Workshop This Thursday!

We’re very excited to have the Flow Circus joining us this summer this Thursday, August 6!

At 7:30 p.m., there will be a special hands-on workshop just for teens! Here you will learn how to use the skill toys that the Flow Circus uses. These may include juggling balls, flower sticks, & Japanese kendama.

This program is free (ages 11-18 only) but you need to sign up online, at the Checkout Desk, or by phone – SPACE IS LIMITED!

This program is generously funded by the Brookfield Education Foundation.
